Right-temple controls¶
Two physical buttons are present on the right temple.

Startup behavior¶
- Press and hold the rear button.
- An audible tone is heard.
- The LED near the hinge flashes briefly.
- The device becomes discoverable as
HeyCyan Glasses.
Indicator location¶
The visible status LED is near the right hinge. Exact color and blink-code mapping have not yet been systematically recorded.
Open tests¶
- Short press, long press, and double press for each button
- Behavior while disconnected, Bluetooth-connected, recording, charging, and low on battery
- LED color and cadence for startup, shutdown, pairing, capture, charging, full charge, and faults
- Whether button mappings change when the HeyCyan companion app is connected
Safety note¶
Button testing should begin with non-destructive observation. Avoid undocumented long-press combinations until recovery behavior is understood.
