- Camera and audio specifications
- Firmware or application compatibility
- Seller and return-policy confidence
Evidence levels¶
- Confirmed identical: direct hardware, firmware, or protocol evidence
- Strong match: multiple distinctive physical and software characteristics align
- Possible relative: general design similarity but insufficient distinctive evidence
- Marketing-only claim: seller language without technical verification
Current acquisition rule¶
For experimental hardware purchases, Amazon is preferred because its return process reduces the risk of receiving an incompatible or misrepresented unit.
