AI610 Notes¶
Purpose¶
This page is the bridge between the private AI610 engineering notebook and public, sourceable documentation in GlassesResearch.
AI610 may contain tentative observations, personal workflow notes, purchasing details, and unverified hypotheses. Material should be promoted into this public repository only after it is cleaned, attributed, and assigned an evidence level.
Promotion checklist¶
Before transferring a finding from AI610:
- [ ] Remove private or identifying information
- [ ] Separate direct observation from inference
- [ ] Add dates, device revision, and test environment
- [ ] Preserve or cite the original source
- [ ] Add reproduction steps where applicable
- [ ] Assign a confidence level
- [ ] Place the finding in the correct topic document
- [ ] Note unresolved contradictions or missing evidence
Current baseline findings¶
- A W610-family pair of glasses was acquired through Amazon for experimentation.
- The observed Bluetooth pairing name is HeyCyan Glasses.
- The right temple houses most of the visible electronics and controls.
- Two right-temple buttons and a hinge-area LED have been observed.
- Initial Bluetooth pairing behavior was inconsistent and merits controlled retesting.
- The project aims to avoid unnecessary vendor lock-in and investigate phone-based, local-first AI processing.
Research direction¶
The intended architecture is a wearable interface whose capture and control functions can be documented and, where feasible, connected to software chosen by the user. Local phone processing is preferred, with cloud services optional rather than mandatory.
Items awaiting public promotion¶
